Sponsorship runs against a budget you set. When the budget is spent, the products stop being sponsored immediately.
Advertising that starts from data you already have
Most advertising begins with creative work. A sponsored product does not. The information a person needs to act on is the information you already publish, and it is already correct: what the product is, what it costs, whether it is available, and where to buy it.
Sponsored Products publishes your catalogue as sponsored ads, so the product being recommended is a product you can actually deliver.
How it is set up
Settings are made once, for the business, rather than product by product. That matters when the catalogue runs to tens of thousands of lines and has no consistent category structure to filter on.
You set a budget, a daily limit, and a price floor that decides which of your products qualify. You choose which AI companies may render your sponsored products. Everything else follows from the catalogue you already publish.
Where it appears
Your products are published as sponsored ads, marked as sponsored by the AI company presenting them. Because the product data comes from your live catalogue, a sponsored product that goes out of stock or out of budget stops appearing rather than continuing to be recommended.
One of two paid options
Publishing your catalogue is always free. Sponsored Products is one of the two paid choices in MasterDB, alongside Ads, and it is entirely optional. Details are set up in the Business Portal.
