Consistent product information everywhere
Product identity, descriptions and variants can follow the same structure at every business that sells them. That reduces the contradictory product descriptions AI systems otherwise retrieve from different stockists.
Why this matters now
When someone asks an AI system about a product, the answer usually has to combine two different things: what the product is, which the brand knows, and where it can be bought right now, which only the stockist knows. Today neither part is reliably published in a form a machine can retrieve, so the answer is assembled from web pages of varying age and accuracy.
For a brand this creates a specific loss. A person is ready to buy, asks an AI system, and receives an answer that names a competing product, an out of date price, or a business that no longer carries the range. The brand has already done the work of creating demand and the demand fails at the last step, in a channel the brand has no way to correct.
The businesses that stock the brand are not well placed to fix this either. Many of them are small, they carry products from many brands, and keeping structured product data current for all of them is more work than they can take on. - Your brand chooses which products and which stockists to promote, and runs that promotion from its own brand account.
- AI systems retrieve the stockist listing, with its current availability, when someone asks where to buy the product.

The businesses that stock your products get accurate, structured product information they did not have to compile, attached to their own listings and their own availability. Publishing to AI is completely free for a business, so any stockist can be present and correct in AI answers, from a single independent shop to a national chain.
They also get demand that arrives with the intent already formed. Someone asking an AI system where to buy a product is pointed to a business that has it, described with data that business published itself. Promotion of published data is one of the paid options available in MasterDB, and a brand can take on that promotion for the products it makes rather than leaving each stockist to arrange it alone.
